No delivery as promised

I upgraded my contact early January. I was happy to wait the 2-4 weeks for a phone, but it now looks like they sell phones no longer available. Insisting on another phone on 2 feb 2018 the so called call centre Manager Kevin advised i would receive the phone 9 feb 2018. On 9 feb i again spoke to him.. and was again promised my phone would be delivered by 17:00 on 9 feb. Still wasnt done.

On 12 feb 2018 the courier showed up to deliver my phone, after at 3 occations i clearly stated i am only in the office on Fridays

I need feedback as to why clear promises by you Managers is not kept or why instructions is ignored.!!!!
