Glocell = Winner of POOREST CUSTOMER SERVICE Award

This is my 2nd MAJOR incident with Gloceel. The most frustrating is that I did not select this company as my service provider, but was forced into a relationship with them by CELLC, who in this instance, also do not really care abput their customers. On Monday, I suddenly could not use my phone anymore for calls, as I have reached my "PERSONAL" limit. For starters, I have never had a personal limit on my account, and I have NEVER asked for a personal limit.I got 2 messages simultanesoulsy, 1st to tell me I have reached 80% of my supposedly personal limit, and 2nd to tell me my services are being restricted. I had to fly out to the USA, and while driving from Pretoria to OR Tambo, I started dialling the call centre in order to resolve this isusue as I was going to be out of the country for 2 weeks. My 1st call I disconnected after 15 mins of listening to music. My 2nd call, while still driving to OR Tambo, was answered after 16 mins of music, the call centre agent put me on hold to unblock my line, but after 22 mins the call was disconnected. At this stage, I have arrived at the airport to fly out. I claaed the call centre again, this time after 18 mins, my call was answered. In the mean time, I was trying to check in for my flight, while holding the phone for GLOCELL to answer my call. The call centre agend put me on hold again to unblock my line, after 39 mins of holding on, the call was again automatically disconnected. At this stage, I checked in, me and my husband walked to the restaurant, got a table, ordered food, and my food delivery came, while I was still holding on the whole time for Glocell to resolve the issue. To my surprise, I then go a call about 10 mins later froma Glocell agent, to unblock my line. The agent called me again 5 mins later to check if the line was unnblocked, and to my surprise, it was. I then went through customs and to the airline lounge, and tried to call my husband before boarding the plane. Surprise surprise, my line was blocked again. I then immediately send a message to the Glocell customer service deck, but I had to baord my plane and took off and could not do anything further. I also asked my PA to call the next day and tell Glocell that they must fix the issue. She did, and guess what, the standard answer is that they cannot do anything if I do not persoanlly call in - THIS AFTER all the calls I made the previous evening. I then send another e-mail message (luckily with technology I could do that from the plane), my PA called them again (every time having to hold on for 20 mins or more to get an answer). I then got a message from her that Glocell confirmed now that my line is unblock. However, when I landed in Chicago, USA, surprise surprise, I cannot use my phone for making any calls. I am in the USA and the UK for the next 2 weeks, I need my phone for business purposes, and AGAIN, as previously in MARCH, I am starnded without a phone overseas, just because GLOCELL decided I have a personal limit without informing me or me requesting a personal limit, in their incompetency to resolve the matter when I asked them to do it.

I wonder how Glocell is now going to resolve my issue while me being abroad. Unfortunately, CellC is going to loose a lot of customers when the contracts expires for the people that was forced to go to Glocell. I will be asking them for alternative, as I am not happy to stay with Glocell.
