False Cruise Contracts
<p>I am utterly dusgusted with Glocell's ********* way of getting customers. They recently convinved me to take out a contract and i will get a MSC cruise worth R8000. I asked the consultant Florence from the Faerie Glen branch about cruises from Durban and she informed me that there will be crusises available from 1 Decembeer 2016 until 1 May 2017. I signed up he contract. Yesterday i get a email from them to say i dont qualify as there is no space. When i contact Msc they say Glocell **** to us as the only date for the cruise is 27 January 2017 form Durban and not as Glocell stated from 1 December 2016 to 1 May 2017. These dates are planned a year in advance so Glocell was well aware of the date of cruise from Durban but misled us. Secondly they would have know in advance how many spaces they have from Msc for this promo. Why did they sign us up for the contracts knowing very well that they will not be able to honour the cruise. This was not a competition where yo stand a chance to win. It was a sign up and get deal. Now that glocell has conned us into taking the contracts they dont want to honour their part. This surely must be ******* an *********.</p>

17 Nov 2016, 20:07hello. Thanks for a response. When i took out the contract i immeadietly contacted MSC to find out about the dates as i need to plan leave accordingly. They informed that that Glocell is misleading us by telling us cruises ar available from from 1 December 2016. Luckily my phone records all my calls so i contacted Florence at Faerie glen and played her the recording. She got back to me and said that that is not true and there will be many cruises availble departing Durban and alsao place is guaranteed as Glocell booked enough cabins for this promo. Plrease bear in mind that we have already run into expenses for this cruise by going out a getting passports for all 4 of us and have planned our leaves accordingly. What surprises me now thouight is that if you contact Msc directly to book that same exact cruise they have space available which means Glocell **** to us on email. Ive gotton adevice from cpa and they say that Glocell has to give us an equivalent or better option if theycant promise what they advertised. Msc has a few other cruises available in January 2017 and glocell will have to book us one of those . i instructed my wife to see our lawyer but since you have responded i hope you will sort out wothout lawerys.
