"Cruise to Nowhere"

I purcahsed a cell phone contract with GloCell that offered a 2 day "Cruise to Nowhere". I was sent an email on the 30th May 2016 to contact their office in November 2016 to book for the "Cruise" This I did at the beginning of November and was sent a GloCell cruise voucher to complete on the 02nd November 2016.

On the 16th November I received an email stating " Due to the great uptake of this cruise reward, we regret to inform you that we are unable to fulfil any further cruises for 2017." I have subsequently tried phoning the call center on numerous occassions spending an average of 10 minutes a time speaking to various assistants none of whom have resolved the matter or escalated the matter to Kevin their supervisor.

I am very dissatisfied and would consider cancelling this account if I do not get to go on a cruise as the whole affair smells of false advertising.

Dear Dennis,
Thank you for taking the time to communicate with the team. We are terribly sorry for the disgruntlement and inconvenience caused.
Please be advised that the email you received from TLC, with regards to all 2017 cruises being full, was sent erroneously and without GloCell's consent.
We are looking into this for you and have escalated this matter to TLC.
Warm Regards
The GloCell Team
