A company that does not keep its promises

On 26 September 2016 I visited the Glocell outlet at Cresta to terminate my cell phone contract. I filled in the forms and signed as requested. I even bought airtime and data in anticipation of the imminent termination. I was billed, as expected, at the end of September. When I was billed at the end of October I called Glocell (a VERY trying experience) and was told that they had mislaid the forms but they had been found and 'all would be sorted out'. Unfortunately I did not get a reference number (unnecessay I thought). When I realised that I was running up a big bill in November I called them (AGAIN) on the 18th November and was told it would all be sorted out by the 21st November. This time I asked for a reference number (# ********** 2). I was duly billed R542.63 on 30 November. Bear in mind that my contract for the previous +-10 years had been about R87.49 per month. I was assured that everything had been sorted out and I would be credited in due course. Imagine my shock when I was billed R1206.01 on 31 December 2016. When I finally got through to Glocell in early January I was told that this was correct and the contract was only terminated on 3 December.

What sort of a company is this? They are just money grabbers.
