Not honoring policies

I submitted a formal written appeal referencing the policy wording and the BMW dealer's diagnostic report. The repudiation was maintained.

The policy exists specifically for unforeseen mechanical failures. A blocked and failed crankcase ventilation valve, diagnosed and documented by an authorised BMW franchise, is exactly that. Yet the claim was denied.

I have now escalated to the Short-Term Insurance Ombudsman (OSTI)
