omplaint: Unable to Obtain Loan Statement or Assistance from GL Attorneys After FNB Referral

I am extremely disappointed with the way my loan repayment matter is being handled.

I was referred by FNB to GL Attorneys regarding the repayment of my outstanding loan. I have been trying to contact GL Attorneys to obtain an up-to-date statement showing the outstanding balance and the necessary payment details.

Unfortunately, despite making repeated attempts to contact them through telephone calls, emails and their online chat facility, I have received no meaningful response.

This is extremely concerning. I am willing to engage and make arrangements to settle my outstanding obligation, but I cannot reasonably make payment without being provided with an official statement confirming exactly what amount is outstanding and the correct payment details.

The lack of response has also left me questioning whether I am dealing with a legitimate company that has actually been appointed by FNB, or whether there is a possibility that I could be dealing with ****mers using FNB's name.

FNB, as the institution that referred me to GL Attorneys, I expect you to urgently clarify this matter.

I would like FNB to:

Confirm that GL Attorneys has been legitimately appointed by FNB in relation to my loan account. Confirm the current outstanding balance on my loan. Ensure that GL Attorneys provides me with an official statement and legitimate payment details. Investigate why GL Attorneys is not responding to my calls, emails or online enquiries. Provide a clear explanation as to why a customer who is attempting to resolve their debt cannot obtain basic account information.

I am not refusing to pay my debt. I am simply asking for a statement and proper communication so that I can make an informed and legitimate payment.

This experience is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. Customers should not be referred to a debt collection/legal firm and then be left unable to contact that firm or obtain a statement of their outstanding balance.

FNB, please urgently investigate and resolve this matter.
