outstanding debt

Hi I am unemployed for more than 3 years now and i owe some money on my credit card. I had brain surgery due to severe epilepsy. I was in construction but im vey limited now. We made an agreement to pay my account of which i did but the people in the collections department are ruthless especially Kenneth I provided them with a letter from the Doctor stating about my disability and even sent them pics of the operation. He agreed and told me i could pay less. On friday the Sheriff of the court rocked up at my house and issued a summons to me after all our arangements and agreements. They are a bunch of ruthless people and have no disregard towards anybody or anything. So now I am to appear in court over and outstanding debt.
