GLA is an ********* company that threatens clients committed to paying their debt and keeps them in debt by adding interest and resorts to abuse and harassment
If there was a 0 I could give this company I would. I've been honouring monthly payments and have recently increased the paymemt amounts. They are keep adding interest onto the account and instead of settlement coming down it keeps rising. I have been working closely with one of their consultants and he has now resorted to ignoring communication and I am being threatened and harrassed everyday by this company. They are now threatening to send a Sheriff of the court because they claiming the amount I'm paying is low. They focusing their energy on fighting clients committed to paying their debt. When I phoned FNB I was advised I do not even have to pay them I can pay directly from my bank account to the account in question but when I do that GL attorneys makes threats again and demands money or claims their system is updating with payments if I pay FNB. Is this the ********* way of which you conduct your business? I am lodging a complaint with the CFDC and NCR and I'm attaching all the threats, accepted payments by this company, all my POP's and proof of on going harassment which is causing severe stress for me

Regarding account this account. I have spoken to FNB Legal as well as their Debt review department this morning who have advised that even though this account was initially handed over to GLA it is still my account and still sits with FNB and I do not need to make payments to GL Attorneys anymore, I told them about the constant harassment and the threats I have received from this company and the severe anxiety and stress it has caused me.
Firstly they confirmed that my account is up to date, they also confirmed that the minimum amount payable on this account is R229 a month of which on their side they can see I have been paying between R500 and R1000 which is more than the minimum amount and acceptable on their end, they told me I can make payment directly from my FNB account straight to Credit Card legal via the FNB App, they also advised that the settlement offer you are sending me is fine however if I decide to pay the amount, GLA do not have the power to write off any shortfall amounts and it does not close the account automatically and I will still have to deal with them for the shortfall. They further advised that when I'm ready to settle this account I can reach out directly to FNB legal and they will give me a settlement amount which will be paid directly to them and they will close the account on their end and provide me with the necessary settlement letter to update my profile.
