GLA attorney and FNB debt collection

I was contacted by GLA Attorneys in September 2022 for two missed installmentson my FNB loan account, after I been unemployed since November 2021 until and November 2022. I had paid all my installments until from inception of loan date,1 April 2021, until I contacted the bank in May 2022, to inform them that I was unemployed and unable to pay the full installment.In August 2022, my monthly arranged installment was not collected and I was then contacted by the attorneys. I was given a handover amount which I queried and was afraid if i made payment that it would be an admission of debt of that amount. I asked for statements several times from date of loan inception up until handover date, whereby no one provided me with such. I ended up just paying monthly installments to GLA Attorneys from November 2022, although I disputed the amount, to avoid being listed as a bad creditor. The statements received from GLA every month reflected different amounts, in terms of the remaining balance. The payments made to GLA are also not reflected to the credit bureau. Thus, negatively impacting your credit even if payments are being made. I continued to query every month regarding the statements, with no assistance. In May 2023, I app**** to rent a place and was informed that I had a negative credit score due to an outstanding loan from FNB. I have email trails from September 2022, requesting the statements more than twice a month so I can get the correct amount and arrange for settlement. This has been so frustrating and lead to a negative credit record for me whilst I've maintained a very healthy score for over 9 years of my life. I'm upset and put in such a negative position that I can't even move into a place closer to work, because of this. I travel over 3 hours daily to work. My friend warned me about GLA Attorneys and FNB. I thought this would never hapoen to me because it was a small amount. Never take a loan from FNB because they hand you over even when you oblige by the law and make payment arrangements in unfortunate circumstance. I work in deceased estates and can guarantee you administration of your estate takes way longer because of the terrible assistance of this bank let alone their debt collector, GLA attorneys. One star is too much to give for service these terrible institutions and also the high level of inconvenience caused by the effects of having had a loan with FNB and being handed over to GLA Attorneys. In the time I was unemployed some of my other debt was also handed over, however once I got a job I made arrangements and the accounts where paid up with 3 months.
