****** with a law degree
<p>It blows my mind that FNB can use such an ********* & ********** company as Groenewald Lubbe Inc. All they do is steel from people by charging them for bogus phone calls, e-mails & test messages, which if you add all of that up comes to a nice bit of change. On the 30th November 2016 I requested the settlement amount on my account via e-mail. Leareil Willems mailed me back with the amount & the date that this had to be paid. I paid the settlement amount, but still got harassed with text messages. But yesterday put the cherry on the cake! At 09h00 I got a text message threatening me with legal action & at 16h20 I received an e-mail from Mr Williams: "In an effort to assist you with settling your indebtedness to our Client FNB Credit Card division we are willing to offer you the following discounts..." ***! I apparently stilled owed them R 656.59. I responded with a very short & nasty e-mail & this morning I received a settlement letter from Mr. Williams. No apology, no sorry for our mistake, nothing. And just by the way, since paying the settlement amount in December they added another R 186.65 in bogus charges to my account. If I had to work for Groenewald Lubbe Inc, I would be too ashamed to admit it because they are just ****** with a law degree behind their names & unfortunately they are giving FNB a bad name to.</p> <p> </p>

We confirm the incident will be investigated and the necessary steps taken to avoid a repeat of your experience. All phone calls made to and from our offices are recorded; both the system notes and telephone recordings will accordingly be reviewed and training provided to ensure such conduct is not repeated.
