FNB Credit card division – Complaint reference: ***

Please assist with my query that I'm currently experiencing with Groenwald Lubbe Inc where my credit card was handed over to.

My balance was R4654.46 in September - Reference FBCC82256.

I made payment arrangements to close the account handed over.

Payments made via debit order:

September R300 October R500 November R500 December R500

Total paid R1800

When I query my updated balance to close the account off, I'm told my balance it R4002.73

In September my balance was R4654 and now in January after paying R1800 towards the account I'm told my balance is R4002.73.

I'm trying to query this with the above company and get an explanation but not getting any joy and honestly poor service from the company whether I call, use the whatsapp platform or email, I don't get any response.

I was directed to the agent handling my file Alroy, which I have email detailing the above but no response from them either.

Please kindly assist as this is frustrating and I want to resolve closing off the account.

Please help me as the collections company is failing me holistically.

I have logged a compliant with the Banking Ombudsman, FNB, with the company and still not getting any joy.
