Attorneys unfairly collecting more than their due and refusing to return my calls

Hi,

GroenewaldLubbe Inc was responsible for collecting the credit card debt I owed to FNB. This debt was settled in July and I had paid an extra R1,000 to GroenewaldLubbe Inc.

I have since requested that the R1,000 be returned and they informed me it was for attorneys fees. I then requested that they send me a statement so I can see how the attorney fees coincidentally amount to the R1,000 overpayment but I have not received any communication from them since July.

The lady who initially dealt with my issue was Nanatte Ely but after my debt was settled, the matter was handed to Chane Harmse.

Nanette always returned my calls and dealt with me very amicably. However, Chane was not as professional and has still not come back to me since July.

I believe that this is a matter of attorneys realising they will be losing out on attorneys fees by an account being settled earlier than the payment arrangements requirements and I believe that that is why Chane is not coming back to me or sending me a statement as we had agreed on our previous conversation.

Please help by speaking up for me against this unfair, unprofessional and ******* treatment I am enduring at the hands of these attorneys.
