Account holder is deceased; shocking communication with agents

My father, who was paying off an account with GL Attorneys, died on 1 July.

I took it upon myself to let all his creditors know, one being this firm. All correspondence has now been directed to me.

Despite MULTIPLE emails to the collector/agent assigned to the case AND telephone calls, to let her know that he has passed on and further correspondence will follow once i’ve received instructions from the Masters Office, they have continued with notices and have even stated yesterday, they will be serving legal notices to his residence - who is now occupied by someone else.

Please save yourselves the cost of serving redundant legal notices and actually ask your agents to do their due diligence. This is bordering harassment!
