Very Bad Experience with GFS Express!!!

I ordered and paid for items from TEMU on 24 August 2025. 28 August I received a link and paid R1048.31 to Geekay Distributors Gener towards customs clearance. On 31 August 2025 customs cleared the parcel. 03 September 2025 I called and spoke to Matsatsi from GFS Express to follow up on my parcel. I was told they have been contacting me on the number I initially provided when making my order, with no success. I informed her that that number is not in use and provided an alternative number. I was told their system takes a while to update custom payments; however, the company I paid into does not seem to be legit. I logged the *****ulent claim with my bank, and they are investigating this transaction. On 09 September 2025 I paid directly into the GFS Express account for them to courier my parcel. Through TEMU tracking system I was requested to make another payment of R30 which I made on the 11 September 2025. I have been trying to get this parcel delivered to me ever since with no success. Each time I'm told the system takes a while to update payments and that I will be updated through the email. However, when I check on the TEMU App, it would say they are trying to contact me to deliver my parcel, but no one contacted me. I called again on the 09 September 2025 and spoke to Hlengiwe to follow up and again provided my alternative number, but still no calls were received and no delivery.

Today, 08 October 2025 I called to follow up on my parcel and was told it was sent back to China on Friday 03 October 2025. I just don't understand why a simple request to contact me on an alternative number could cause such an incompetence at GFS Express. Now I'm told I need to request a refund from GFS Express by email. They won't email me to inform me that they have returned my order. No... they want me to write to them to request my refund. What nonsense is this? I have never experienced such an incompetence ever!!!
