Unprofessional and blames the client for their shortcomings - appointment made - sold car but failed to inform me
Made an appointment for 10:30 Saturday 19 February 2022... I left some of my prior commitments to make the appointment... after having the car on my mind all day friday and seeing it when I arrived at the premises for my appointment the car was SOLD... the manager refused to recoup my petrol money not to mention my time... acknowledged no wrong doing in the scenario and said that is the way dealerships work.... maybe unprofessional dealers YES!
Is this how you do business... Next time a client makes an appointment do the following:
1. Tell the person making the appointment that they should not put their hopes up as the car can be sold under their feet (I was not told this, my day would have been much better)
2. If you sell a car call the person that had an appointment for the car to tell him or her that it is sold... common decency!!!
Can't believe the manager condones unprofessionalism like this and makes it the prospective client's fault.... quality cars very poor service and acknowledging poor service... bot sure what after service complaints will be like..
Anyway if buying from GetWorth keep this in mind..
Thank you for bringing your experience with getWorth to our attention.
We are a high-volume dealership and we need to adhere to our company policies.
We work on a first come first serve basis, therefore we encourage a holding deposit on the vehicle to avoid disappointment.
We certainly do not want any customer to waste their time or money; in your case, there is very little we could have done differently as the car was confirmed as sold just before you arrived.
We apologise that our service did not meet your expectations.
Kind Regards
getWorth Team
