I have a Polo 6C GTi which I was interested in selling to getWorth, a vehicle I purchased from them.

I set up an evaluation for this morning at 8:00 (keep in mind they open at 9:00), I was set to meet with Thembakazi. I arrived at 8:30 (a tad late on my part). Upon arrival I was then handed over to Shaun who expressed a lot of distaste about the fact that he had to handle my inspection as my wife overheard him scolding and complaining about this.

He left with my vehicle and was gone for approximately 20-25 minutes. He claimed my clutch was slipping and an issue with the mechatronics. By the time my wife and I left my car filled with a pungent smell of burning clutch, keep in mind I drove my car from Strand to Richwood, Milnerton without any issues. If you know anything about cars you would know how much abuse it would take to BURN the clutch on a DSG gearbox.

When I expressed my concerns about the now condition of my vehicle to Shaun I was told, I quote, "I'm an old man and wont drive your car fast", as if that's an excuse for abusing my vehicle.

I was told it would be brought up in a meeting on Monday, I will be awaiting a response.

I DO NOT recommend selling your car to these chancers who take the opportunity to abuse clients vehicles upon inspection.
