Disappointing Experience with Defective Vehicle

I purchased a vehicle from getWorth in February 2023 expecting a reliable car based on their assurances. Unfortunately, shortly after driving it off the lot, I discovered significant issues with the vehicle, including chipped windscreen, a battery at the end of its lifespan and then a gearbox issue a month of taking delivery of the vehicle. These defects made the car unsafe and unreliable. When I contacted the dealership to address the issue, They promised to see to these issues - fast forward to 30 000km and the same problem with the gearbox exists. I contacted getWorth again and their response was deeply disappointing. They refused to take responsibility, offering no meaningful solutions or support despite clear evidence of the vehicle’s defects. Their customer service was dismissive, and I felt misled about the quality of the car I was sold. I strongly caution others considering getWorth.

The lack of accountability and poor after-sales service turned what should have been an exciting purchase into a frustrating ordeal. After less than 2 years and having only drove 30 000km I have to sell the car. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere!

Good day Roscoe Thank you for your feedback. The vehicle, sold was  a 2014 VW TSI with 121,839 km on the odometer, the vehicle was tested and checked as per our process. Your clutch became a concern in our aftersales process under the 30-day / 3000KM whichever comes first promise, which we resolved at no cost to you. The issues you now raise have arisen nearly two years after purchase. As noted, the clutch was covered for one year, and this warranty period has long since expired. Components such as clutches, gearboxes, batteries, and windscreens are routine maintenance items, subject to normal wear and tear, and may be influenced by driving style and usage. No issues were reported during the warranty period, and your first contact regarding these concerns comes after a significant lapse of time. While we regret your dissatisfaction, we remain confident the vehicle was supp**** in good working order.
Regards,
The get\Worth Team
