Disappointed in Getworth

So last year end of May, beginning of June i bought a BMW from Getworth. I had the car for a week and the BMw gave so much problems that they could not even fix it. Getworth bought the car back from me and i told me i can get a different car in the same price range. I did that and it ended up costing me R1000 more pm. I ended up getting a 2016 Audi A3 1.8 TFSI SE STRONIC. The car started nicely and well not long after the problem started with the Audi. I went back and forth with Getworth again and now they end up ignoring me messages and no response. I will not mention name unfortunately. They car is giving me so much problems now and Getworth completely messed me up financially with all the problems that i need to try and fix. I have a total of R25000 that i need to pay in order to fix all the problems. The car is misfiring like crazy and I can't even drive the car properly.

Getworth booked my car in at Williams engine rebuild and they had my car for a week and taking my car home to see if they could fix the problem, When i went to go fetch my car, i unfortunately received my car back with Scratch marks on the passenger side door from Williams Engine Rebuild. It was a dog that ended up scratching my car from the place that my car was at to be checked out. Now i have to also fix that because they are also just as useless as Getworth.

I will unfortunately never do business with Getworth again, I would rather do business with other dealerships.

Not happy with the 2 cars that i bought from there.

Hi Tiaan Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry to hear that you’ve encountered challenges and appreciate the opportunity to respond. All concerns raised within the 30-day period were attended to, in line with our client care commitment. When issues arose with your original vehicle, we facilitated a full buyback and supported you in selecting a replacement vehicle of your choice. While the revised monthly repayment for the replacement vehicle - a 2016 Audi A3 purchased on 5 November 2024 - was slightly higher, this was discussed and agreed upon at the time of sale. When concerns were later raised, you personally delivered and collected the vehicle from an independent workshop for assessment. Their findings confirmed that the issue - a misfire due to a faulty ignition coil - was related to normal wear and tear and not linked to the repairs previously completed. A quote was provided to you for the repair. We understand you declined this. We remain committed to transparency and fair service, and in this case, all aftersales support was concluded within the 30-day/3000km parameters. We do regret any inconvenience caused and thank you once again for your feedback.
Regards
The get\Worth Team
