Getsmarter IT Management

POOR POOR POOR, your registration and onboarding is an absolute stinker!

So I get cancelled in the middle of my course after full payment was made 2 months ago. Cancelled because there was a misunderstanding.

I can see me getting a refund after this.

Obviously there will be great stories to tell too! Unfortunately I don't have.

My onboarding experience was not good / great. Paid in August 2021 for October 2021 intake. Confirmation was received and access given to the platform. Start of the 1st module I was still restricted to access course material due to my ID not being verified. To me, this was a system issue as I used different methods available and was still not being able to verify my ID. This led to immense frustration as the course started and it suppressed my excitement. With problem resolved through email and conversation I successfully completed module 1.

This week start of module 2, the excitement always starting coming back as module 1 was completed with a good mark. Second day of module 2 my course was moved to January 2022 intake. Now, to be clear I have asked in writing in week1 during my problem what was the cancellation process, I have done so too in one phone call. Then an email response (email 1) was why I would like to cancel, which I stated the problem was resolved, let us simplify this I am in the course and will proceed.

Email 2 responded and provided the cancellation process, which I did not even read. It then turned out that the intent to cancel telephonically was followed through without my discretion. However, the conclusion on the call was that a cancellation link would be emailed to me, which was not sent, but email 1 with no link. This added to 5 hours going on 6 hours of my day trying to resolve this. Money is in - BOOM! This will be my first and last time with this institution. Your backroom staff suck. BUT BIG UPS TO YASEEN HE AS SINCE THE START PUSHED TO MAKE THIS WORK. NOTE, I never asked for a deferral, but got registered for 2022.

Well that's my side of the story.
