Horrible Service

Appalling service i have received at Get Savvi Health. Hello Peter,I took blood tests sometime in Feb 2021 using the mentioned medical aid then started receiving text messages from the Lancet advising me to pay since my medical aid only paid R136 instead of R989..I however have been going back and forth with the consultants including the manager regarding this claim i then sent another to their claims department in Jul to my suprise i got a reply stating that"Kindly note that Get savvi health process all claims at scheme rate, Subject to the tariff codes covered" this is the first time i hear of this ever since i joined in 2016 and why did they not tell me this when i was talking to the consultant.

Good day Miss Radebe

Thank you for bringing this to our attention

As discussed telephonically, the relevant Pathology claim was processed and paid at the scheme tariff according to a list of procedure codes, all benefits are paid at scheme tariff subject to a formulary.

As advised, we pulled the relevant Sales call from January 2016 and we can confirm that within the first 3mins of the call you were advised that blood tests and x-rays are subject to a list of codes. The relevant list of procedure codes are available on the GetSavvi Health website, in addition it is important for benefits to be confirmed prior to performing treatment to ensure there are no shortfalls on payments made, we noted that no contact was made prior to consulting with the Pathologist (contact was only made for the GP consult).

We trust you find the above in order.

Regards
