When I started I was told unlimited doctors visits. I was happy with the service. Now a few months later Called to get a feelbetter pharmacy voucher number and the consultant rudely told me i only have 2 vouchers left and its not unlimited gp visits as people take advantage and now they have changed. I have signed up as i have 3 kids and instead of me buyinf the meds cash or paying cash for a doctor i thought as per our first conversation that this would be a great deal. In the meantime i have reached chest problems and they wont cover the costs, and now i stopped my scans and whatever medicine needs to be bought as i have to leave the 2 vouchers (which i was told is unlimited) to top that up they sent me an email requesting payment for my daughter that saw the doctor with a sore throat, getsavvi told me they dont cover mental illness and i have to pay. My child has no mental illness at all. They promise all these things in the beginning and once you get to a certain amount of visits and otc meds they inform you that u only have limited gp visits and certain otc vouchers left. I pay my account on time and thought this would be ideal for me and my family but now very dissapointed with the service. Would rather move to another medical cover as winter is coming up ans with 3 kids not being able to see a doctor when they get sick just wont work for me. Very dissapointed. I refuse to pay a bill that was sent stating my daughter has a mental illness and that thy dont cover that but she saw the doctor for a sore throat. Confusing and the fact that their consultant treated me with no respect when i queried this was just the end

Kindly note, at point of sale all members are advised that GP consultations are unlimited but managed, a member may visit the GP 6 times without requiring pre-authorisation, authorisation is required from the 7th GP visit, the average South African visits the GP 3 times for the year, this is in place to ensure premiums are not inflated due to high claims.
A limit of 12 Feel Better Fast pharmacy vouchers was introduced at the start of 2022, all members are advised of all changes and benefit updates prior to the start of the new benefit year via email.
With reference to the claims received, a total of 17 claims have been received since October 2021 with 15 claims paid in full, two claims for Kaitlin dated 13-10-2021 and 07-02-2022 rejected as the diagnosis for the GP consultations reflected as “Anxiety Disorder” , please note the provider submits the claim to GetSavvi Health with the relevant diagnosis, therefore should this be incorrect the claims should be queried with the GP directly.
