Last week Friday the 16th of June 2017 on A departing Mango flight from Cape Town to Durban flight JE322 my husband had collapsed whilst on flight in the lavatory. The cabin crew had announced if anyone onboard was medically trained and could please assist, and an Indian guy had approached who's name I had forgotten due to the shock I was in but I do remember him saying he worked for GetSavvi Health in Cape Town. This gentleman was such a blessing he had managed to get up an IV LINE going, get my spouses vital sign readings, position him all by himself whilst fighting turbulence and he eventually regained consciousness before landing. I hope you read this as I have contacted Mango airlines for your personal details as my family and I would like to publicly thank you for your brave heart and kind soul, may you continue to do the work you do son as we could have lost a loved one that morning but cause of you we did not, no words can thank you enough, your patients are so lucky to have you treat them daily - my husband was taken away by paramedics upon landing and had suffered an hypoglycemic attack, if it wasn't for your intervention and quick thinking he would have been in a coma. If medical staff like this belong to Medical companies, I know were I am taking my personal medical insurance and the insurance for my employees from, WELL DONE!!
