What a recovery!!

With loadshedding as it is, my gate and garage batteries have died - dead.

I’ve always had great service from GeeWiz, so on Sunday night I ordered my batteries, going for the more expensive LiFi PO4 battery.

Well things didn’t go the way I’d hoped. The supplier ran out and the replacement supplier couldn’t deliver before I went on holiday. Added to that, I got home last night three hours after loadshedding had ended and still no power. To add to my woes, the gate was on and Mt wife was asleep. I had to wait it out in the cold and dark - till midnight when power came back.

But I was okay. Nox was on it. She’d been in contact about my order and was keeping me informed. When it was clear the replacement battery wouldn’t make my deadline, I decided to get a cheaper Gel battery. Nox suggested I speak to Jannie, who despite his hectic workload made time to chat to me, give me advice and a cup of coffee. Norma, with her lovely smile, in the meantime efficiently sorted my order out.

I got home to the dark again, but at least now I’m sorted.
