GREAT Service from GeeWiz

I bought a "Mecer 2400VA Inverter + 2 x 100AH Batteries" KIT from GeeWiz in June 2021. The online ordering and subsequent delivery was smooth and hassle-free.

I had an electrician connect the unit to our lighting and home-office circuits via the DB Board. This worked 100% and I kept the KIT on all the time.

During October 2021 the above setup failed and I realized that one of the batteries wasn't charging anymore. The batteries have a 1 year warranty when used with an inverter. However, I was expecting a complicated and frustrating process to get the faulty battery tested and ultimately replaced.

I could not have been more wrong !

Within 15 min of emailing GeeWiz and informing them of the situation, I was contacted by Jannie Lubbe from GeeWiz.

He arranged for the collection and shipping of the faulty battery from my house in the Western Cape to Gauteng.

The Courier company collected the faulty battery the next day.

GeeWiz then had the battery tested by their Supplier, who confirmed that the battery was indeed faulty and would be replaced.

The new battery arrived a day after the Supplier confirmed that they would replace the faulty battery.

I was kept me in the loop every step of the way.

Knowing how frustrating after-sales service could be, I was blown away by this awesome experience.
