Frustration with Srvice levels and Processes

This issue has been ongoing since June. I purchased 2 Mini UPS Dc systems from Geewiz. They were for my work. One for me and one for my boss. I paid R2500.00 for them. The one worked great the other didnt work at all.

I logged it with Geewiz and started the whole returns procedure, this was within the 7 day period. I wasnt looking for a refund I just wanted it either repaired or replaced. It took them over a week to book it back into their system but i was patient. They then eventually emailed me and told me the system was faulty and they would replace it. I was then informed that they no longer had stock. I asked for the equivalent and they sent me a link for a different system but they wanted me to pay and extra R400 for it. I informed them that i was already over budget so it had to be same price and same specs.

After about a week they eventually just said they will issue a voucher for the amount i paid and i must find whatever i want. I found a system i was happy with, not same specs but acceptable. There was stock available. Put it in the cart added the voucher number and suddenly it went from no shipping fee to adding a shipping fee. I could not resolve it so contacted them to ask why they charging me a shipping fee on an item that was over the shipping fee amount.

Took them a few days to get back to me and then telling me they have to create another voucher for the shipping as the voucher cancelled out the free shipping. I asked if they could do everything from their end, which they rep**** they could.

The next thing i see is an email for an order for a lower speced UPS. I phoned again, probably my third call to them and asked why they had placed the order for that UPS. I was told that they no longer had stock of the other one i wanted (if they hadnt wasted their time there would have been stock) so they decided to process this one for me. I told them it was not acceptable as it didnt have the specs i needed.

After a couple of days they get back to me with another option. The original one that i ordered and had to return. I asked a couple of questions and was happy with the offer so i said go ahead.

This morning I get an email saying i must pay them another R495 rand if i want the UPS. I looked at the invoice. They shorted changed my voucher by R250 and want me to pay in extra for an item i bought and returned faulty.

I phoned back again. The agent couldnt tell me why they short changed me but the department told her to just issue a R1000 voucher and not R1250.

So now its another whole investigation to find out whats wrong and then they will call me back...maybe.

This has been going on for over a month. Save your money, purchase elsewhere the frustration of dealing with Geewiz is not worth it.
