This is a **** stay away. Keegan made me cancel my car subscription with europcars and offered to get me into a rent to own arrangement. After receiving an Invoice 960812 from GearFlex Mobility Solutions Ptyfrom *** I made a payment of R3000 as part of the deposit. Keegan has been making all sorts off excuses when delivery date came, he even came to meet me in Pretoria to introduce Anthony, the delivery man that was supposed to bring the car but he never pitched up. Later Keegan claimed Anthony had bumped the car and got fired so the car was being repaired in Sandton. On 05/09/26 Keegan allegedly was to fly from CapeTown to Johannesburg to hand over the car but, when I asked him the following day he came up with stories. Its been more than two months waiting for the car and e-hailing fares are too much, he even promised to re-emburse me, he never delivered any of his promises.

My husband and I had a very poor experience with Gearflex. In January 2026, I paid a deposit for a rent‑to‑own vehicle that was promised for delivery on 24 January. The vehicle was never delivered. For more than two months, I was continuously told that delays were due to staff errors, and I received ongoing updates and photos of the vehicle. However, on the day of collection, the Toyota dealership refused to release the vehicle due to outstanding payments by Gearflex. I cancelled the agreement on 27 March 2026 and requested a refund. Although I was promised an immediate refund and later informed of a 5–7 working‑day policy, no refund has been received. Based on my experience, communication was misleading and the matter remains unresolved. We would caution other consumers to be very careful should they want to take a vehicle with them.
