Very unhappy with Gauteng Rental Housing Tribunal

Housing Tribunal Panel: Unprofessional Attitude/Behavior/Disrespect and unhelpful 1. Vasinthi Vengedasamy 2. Ntombi Makhoa I had my Mediation on the 23/11/23. The respondent (H Venter and E Venter) was Absent. The Mediator stated it will go for tribunal hearing, the Mediator said Ntombi must inform us regarding the date of the hearing, when I communicated with her through email she just past the buck to Vasinthi and back to her again. And suddenly the documentation that was send to them and the ones that was in the files disappeared, I'm still awaiting a reply after I send again emails. "Good afternoon

Your complaint was registered on the 29\05\23 and set for mediation on the 23\11\23, referred to Tribunal hearing, for a hearing date you need to contact Ms. Vasinthi Vengedasamy ( ***) provided the lease agreement was attached on the file, if not please send us your lease agreement copies or sworn affidavit stating that there was no lease agreement signed between you and your previous landlord,

After mediation files go back to Ntombi, she need to submit file for hearing as per mediator’s note “referred for hearing”, please check with her if your Lease Agreement has been placed on file so she an submit the file to me

And this is a ongoing case, no help or reply and definitely no pressure to finish this matter. At lease a email a week is what I'm doing. This are a very sad and embarrassing matter and disappointment for this department as people depend on them to assist if they are wronged. As if one matter is bigger or more important than the other one. I am very unhappy with them and the state of this matter and still I did not get my deposit back and the landlord smile all the way and come away with it as of it is just a another *****
