Taken for a ride

After making an appointment a month in advance and paying the deposit requested, we were told that they could not move our furniture on the date requested. We were not contacted and no apology was forthcoming. I called to confirm the day and time on the Friday before ( was expecting to move on the next Wed) and was then told that the move could not happen. When I asked why I was not informed sooner, the only person that answered all the phone numbers given said " I am telling you now". He said they could move my things the following week. I declined and requested a refund, to which he agreed. When I wanted to give my bank details he said to call on Monday as they were actually already closed! On Monday, my calls were "killed". He has not answered a call from me or my husband since. My husband decided to drive to the address listed on the invoice to try and speak to someone directly only to find that no such company exists at that address, no office , nothing. It seems they are not to be trusted at all. I will even go so far as to say that some of the "fantastic" reviews posted are from friends and family. Very poor service. I will never get my money back.
