Yesterday morning I was shopping at the Food *****'s Market in Centurion Gateway Shopping Centre. I shop here almost every week. When it was my turn to pay, two cashiers were reluctant to help me and kept passing the buck to each other. Cashier Priscilla Monama accused me of not paying for my eggs. Even though I showed her the proof of payment, her attitude made me feel deeply offended and uncomfortable. Then, the cashier next to her incited another customer to hurl personal insults and verbal abuse at me, while all the supervisors and managers present turned a blind eye. Later, I asked to see the manager, and after waiting for a long time, the managers avoided seeing me. All of this—the cashiers, supervisors, and managers—happened purely because I am Chinese. They exhibited severe racial **************, and this behavior is completely unacceptable.
