Gateway security

I am a daily visitor to this mall as friends work within the mall. The vibrant atmosphere is a drawcard for many,young and old alike. However I have noticed on many occasions the security personal are very rude and dont really do what is expected. They are wannabe police men. Lately there have been a few incidents in the parking lots,some have made headlines in local newspapers, where are the security ? Just getting into the centre is a mission in itself as private taxis and some unthoughtful drivers park any where causing huge traffic congestions ,where is security ? It is a shame as these guys potray the image of the mall. Recently we confronted a civilian taking pictures in the toilets, contacted mall security manager, who advised he is going to charge the person for trespassing, however no policeman were called. These security personal are a waste of time,have attitudes and are nowhere when really needed. The beggers have also found a new venue to play their trade. Getaway centre management are obviously paying for lax service and it seems they are happy with services provided. I hear with interest from friends how business gets ****** within the mall,how does this happen . Beware when visiting as security is not promising.
