• Your claim was submitted to GapCover in error.This was an Emergency PMB claim, which is payable by your medical scheme. The assessor then referred  your claim to your broker in order for them to refer back to your scheme for settlement.

 We urge our clients to ensure that they read their policy documentation thoroughly in order to not submit claims that are not eligible for benefits.  GapCover is not a medical scheme, but a short-term insurance product, thus,  is governed by a different set of rules than a medical scheme, and cannot cover the same benefits.  We do offer our clients a free pre-assessment service for future claims (***) .  Please feel free to contact us for further feedback.  Havre a good day.  Kind regards, The GapRisk/GapCover Team
