Formal Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Conduct at Galaxy Boy – East Rand Mall Branch

I would like to raise a formal complaint regarding the conduct of the manager, Muthusi, at the Galaxy Boy store at East Rand Mall.

On several occasions when visiting the store, I have witnessed him shouting at and speaking aggressively to staff members in a loud and disrespectful manner, even in front of customers. This behaviour is highly unprofessional and creates an uncomfortable atmosphere for both employees and customers.

What concerns me most is the way staff members are treated. On one occasion, I witnessed a staff member crying, which was very upsetting to see. No employee should have to endure this kind of treatment in the workplace, particularly in front of customers.

Furthermore, on most of the occasions I have visited the store, Muthusi has appeared to me to be intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol. While I cannot confirm the reason for his appearance, this has raised serious concerns about his professionalism and conduct while on duty.

I respectfully request that the Human Resources department investigate this matter and intervene where necessary. Employees deserve to work in a safe, respectful and professional environment, and customers should not have to witness staff being treated in such a manner.

I hope Galaxy Boy takes this complaint seriously and conducts a thorough investigation into the matter. Appropriate action should be taken to ensure that employees are treated with dignity and respect and that professional standards are upheld at the East Rand Mall branch.
