Store with heavy paint smell

I went to buy lunch today and we got the worse service ever, not from the stuff but the store was upside down, store was been renovated but still open for customers to buy nd eat, as we were sitting eating smell of Paint was too... much table we were sitting at had wet paint on it, i asked for Men toilet but the toilet was closed as well due to maintenance. What i dont understand why the store wasn't just closed cause it not healthy at all. I was very unhappy and for once i didn't see value for my money i spent there
