Poor Infrastructure
Galencia has breached the South African building standards, the infrastructure of poor quality. The adverts are false to some extent, they said there is a running track in Waldorf Estate but they never fulfilled this commitment post completion. They are currently under investigation by the banking association, no mortgages will be granted to purchase these properties.

Please note that all Galencia buildings are constructed in strict accordance with South African construction standards and regulations, and have obtained all the necessary certificates required by various relevant departments.
Regarding the issue of the runway, a circular running track was indeed planned during the initial stages of the development. However, changes in the municipal requirements for attenuation ponds meant that we needed to modify the pond’s capacity for discharging stormwater from the estate and main road, which consequently impacted plans for the running track.
As a result, we notified the Body Corporate in writing in June 2020 that the running track would be removed from the development plans.
Regarding the Banking Association of South Africa (BASA), we understand that they are acting from an abundance of caution in protecting consumers’ best interests, and we have been provided with a clear list of instructions for addressing their concerns. We are actively co-operating with these requirements to ensure that all concerns are resolved as swiftly as possible.
