Furnmart Malelane Horrible service!

My partner and I bought 6 couches at Furnmart Malelane in March. When we initially wanted it, they told my husband that the ones on display are the only available and the type of couches will no longer be made,so we agreed to buy it and take it but only under the impression that they had not been long on display and we wouldnt get new ones.

Then after a month and others that followed ,the very same couches arrived at the Store,Furnmart Malelane. We know this because my husband works there.

The real problem started around August when one of the couches started making noise whenever we sit, and it's unacceptable for something bought in March to be as if it has been used for a long time.

So we reported the issue to the store, and the store Clerk Mr Ngomane said he will take it where things are fixed for the store. Only for it to come back with the same problem. Then they took the couch again and now it came back looking different from the others, the store Clerk said he made sure it's fixed he told them to put sponges so it does not make noise, what an insensitive thing to even mention.at some point he said he will give us the number of where they are made to complain to them, making a joke to my partner, however to me that is unacceptable behavior as a store Clerk.

Out question as a customers is this, are we to accept such bad service for furniture that has insurance and warranty and it's supposed to be brand new? And why is my partner being treated different from other customers , because whenever they have furniture that has faults and damage they get new ones and not it's fixed.

Why such bad service to one of your own employees who is working there ? How do they expect great word of mouth then?

I don't want that damaged couch that is supposedly fixed by adding sponges, I want a brand new one like everyone else .

Also the store Clerk can't speak anyhow to my partner just because he works there, he is also a customer who has to heard. 0326 Malelane Customer profile Account number 145915-1 *** ***
