Bad service

On 27 Jul 2018 my son bought a TV at Furmart, Kathu, Northern Cape. This was his first TV that he bought so the sales person helped him to get a TV license. The R265 for the license, my son paid to Furnmart. Up to date, the money has not been paid over to the SABC. SABC has handed my son's account over to their attorneys. The amount to be paid now, is way over R400. We've been to Furmart to resolve the issue, no luck. We've taken the police there, no luck Please help us
