Be careful before moving into a complex that utilises Fungi

If I could give zero rating, I would!!! I moved into a complex (Hereford) that uses Fungi as their utility company. When we moved in, we were told that the previous family of 4 paid 1.5 per month, yet we pay well over 3k per month and there’s just the 2 of us. When we ask how the bill is calculated, they say that it’s charged based on the amount of water you use (it’s a gas geyser, and the stove is also gas). One day they deduct R35, then the next they will deduct R200. It’s not consistent and it looks like they charge whatever they want. When you call and ask what is going, the customer service agents will beat around the bush. Sometimes their meters will “stop working” and then they deduct exorbitant amounts. Half of the residents are always complaining about Fungi. You can’t even budget accordingly because you have no idea how you’re going to get billed and for how much. It’s a really terrible company.
