<div>On Monday 7th March ‘22 I had my consultant zoom call with Dagmar, she explained that as my business concept is an online platform that'll take at least 6 months to develop, I can’t use government funding channels but she liked the idea and had an private Australian investor she could pitch to - pitch deck cost R5000. I asked if I supp**** my own pitch deck could she review and critique it, she said yes for R500. So on 9th March I emailed asking follow up questions, her response below 1.Pitch Deck better in PowerPoint or PDF? The pitch deck is a short presentation to interest the investor and if they are they will require a full business plan. 2. Do you have any sway with your Australian investor or you just send the email? No we do not send out emails and wait for responses, we will introduce you to the potential investor or fund via Zoom. 3. If investor says he wants the business proposal, do I pay for that or will it come from investment fees? You will need to pay for the business plan. 4. And if investor says yes to the investment proposal, how do your fees work? We get a commission of 6% depending on the investment amount I responded “I need to think about it as there is no guarantee you'll secure investment and it will cost me approximately R20 000 in fees for zoom consultation, pitch deck and business plan.” Her response:” I cannot give you any indication for success; I don’t even know what you want to do, this is why we recommend the consultation, there I can advise you on the best way forward” SHE HAD NO IDEA WHO I WAS... Despite our face to face zoom chat less than 48hrs prior. I then told her who I was and she responded “Hi, o.k. I remember now, I shared my insights with you in the meeting already.” And that was it… I paid R660 for my consultation, and once she had her money, she was no longer interested in helping and changed her story by saying said "The idea is great, but not every great idea is “fundable”. So either she **** on the zoom call or afterwards.
