Today my husband and I bought chicken from Fruit and Veg with the intent on braaing it the same day it was bought. The expiry date indicated that the sell by date was the 3rd of April. When we opened the chicken, the day it was bought, it was not only rotten inside it was also precooked. Which is disappointing because fruit and veg pride themselves on hygiene and quality. Needless to say my friends and I won't be going back any time soon as it was a pretty penny as well. Not a ***** of food *****s.
