Massive losses due to rough handling of fresh produce

<p>To whom it may concern</p> <p>I'm a regular shopper at Fruit and Veg and have noticed one particular aspect that could make you much more profitable.</p> <p>Here, then, is an friendly observation, for free.</p> <p> </p> <p>I've noticed that a significant number of fruit and veg is badly bruised due to robust handling. Bananas are the worst off. Sometimes it's obvious that only about 10% of the fruit on display is still saleable.</p> <p> </p> <p>A suggestion would be to review the supply (value) chain and retrain personnel to be more aware and to regard fresh produce as capital.</p> <p> </p> <p>Other than that, I'm mostly happy with my shopping experience at the stores.
