Injury

I had a slip and fall in Fruit and Veg in Figtree Port Elizabeth. I slipped on some vegetable peels as the place is filthy. I fell flat on my back and hit my head. This was on 21 July 2017. Some shoppers helped me up. I called for the manager and a supervisor/team leader came. He then instructed the cleaners to immediately clean up as there was so many cabbage leaves and other vegetables leaves lying around. The next morning i woke up with such a stiff back and neck and i went to the ER. The Dr examined me gave me a script for strong pain****er and advised me to go for a few physio therapy. I couldn't go because my medical has run out of benefits and i can't afford to pay out of my pocket. I have to buy over the counter pain meds and it does not help. I've used ointment as well, but i keep feeling the pain. I cannot live off pain****ers. They said i could lay a liability claim with their insurance which i did. Now they only want to pay for the hospital bill. This incident will definitely affect my back for some time in years to come especially when it's bad weather. I’m a very healthy and active person, and since the incident I have not been able to exercise. They now want me to sign some form where they are only going to pay the hospital bill and that i'm satisfied with. And that they are not liabil for what happened, but they are because they had an unclean shop. I cannot except this outcome
