Fruit chemically treated.

Fruit that could be " preserved" with suspect results. Even fruit from WOOLWORTHS & SAR had the same results. We used to buy apples and pears feeding wild birds in the garden but they stopped eating the fruit. When the wild birds stop eating the fruit, it means that the fruit is not fit for consumption for humans and possibly chemically treated. Very concerned about this.
