Told my area is live when it is not.

Frogfoot was scheduled to go live in my area at the end of April, the date then got moved to the end of May, then again to the end of June. I can understand the reasons behind this with council way-leaves etc, but what I do not understand is being told that the area is now live, having people come in to connect my house to the corner infrastructure, and having them tell me that the area is not actually live at the moment. The Frogfoot coverage map says we are live, and so did the woman that spoke to me when I called them a couple of days ago, but now I hear that they still want to test the area etc and then (possibly) do the splicing in a weeks time? Zero work has been done in my area for ages and I was told that it was 100% complete, so what happened there? My concern now is that I will not be able to give my one months notice for my ADSL disconnection and will have to double pay for an extra month because I rely on an always on internet connection, and am unable to take a chance and cancel it without having the fibre replacement working at the time.
