Misinformation vs no information

After seeing my area is Fibre ready, I requested a line and paid for installation on 14 July. To this day, I do not have fibre. Had one visit where sub contractors couldn’t find the box. One visit again where guys from ‘Faulty Lines’ came out to find I don’t have anything yet. Apparently the initial job for infrastructure was incomplete. Aren’t you supposed to check?? I received a call asking me if they can activate my line on their side..even though I have nothing but a router with no connection. 2 months later still waiting to hear if they will lay the infrastructure or just to hear anything from them really.
