I am a Webafrica customer using Frogfoot infrastructure. My internet has been completely down since 15 May 2026. I logged ticket Z*** the same day and have followed up multiple times via email and phone. Each time I’m told it’s being escalated, but
I have been a Webafrica customer on Frogfoot infrastructure. My internet has been down since 15 May 2026. Ticket Z*** remains unresolved after multiple follow-ups. I have now escalated to ICASA and ISPA.

22 May 2026, 10:37UPDATE 22 May 2026 - SERVICE STILL DOWN, NO COMMUNICATION
On 21 May 2026, after this complaint went public, a Frogfoot representative contacted me and stated the issue would be “prioritized”. As of today, 22 May, there has been zero follow-up, zero fix, and zero communication. My line remains down.
This is a breach of service delivery and a violation of consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Promising action to stop negative publicity and then going silent is misleading conduct.
Let this serve as formal notice:
1. If my service is not fully restored and I do not receive written confirmation within 24 hours, I will escalate this to ICASA under the Electronic Communications Act for failure to provide contracted services.
2. I will also file with the National Consumer Commission for misleading conduct and failure to honor commitments.
3. I am documenting all timestamps and communications. This record will be submitted with both complaints.
TO ANYONE READING THIS: Do NOT sign up with Frogfoot until they can prove they actually resolve faults. Their sales team is responsive, but their support goes silent the moment you pay and have a problem. Save yourself the downtime and frustration.
I will update this review daily until the issue is resolved or until ICASA/NCC cases are opened.

22 May 2026, 10:44The pattern here is clear: Frogfoot is quick to call, SMS, and email when it’s time to collect payment. The moment there’s a fault on their network, they go silent and stop prioritizing customers. That’s not service, that’s bait-and-switch.

22 May 2026, 11:02UPDATE 22 May 2026 - CHANGING STORIES, STILL NO FIX
ICASA Case Number: GAU003688/26 - Status: ACTIVE
Assigned Officer: Sameera Mota
Current Status: Escalated to Licensee
Timeline of excuses:
- 21 May: Frogfoot contacted me after this post and promised to “prioritize the fix” and send technicians.
- 22 May: I received a call saying there’s an “outage”. No ETA, no technician visit, no follow-up.
So which is it? Are you sending technicians, or is it a network outage? You can’t have both. This looks like you’re making up excuses to delay while my service stays down.
The pattern is clear: Frogfoot is quick to call, SMS, and email when it’s time to collect payment. The moment there’s a fault, you go silent or give conflicting stories.
This is a breach of the Electronic Communications Act and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. My complaint is formally lodged with ICASA under case GAU003688/26 and has been escalated to Frogfoot as the licensee. I will also be filing with the ISPA Code of Conduct complaints process for failure to meet service standards.
TO ANYONE READING THIS: Do NOT sign up with Frogfoot. They take payment fast, but when your service fails, you get lies and silence. Check the ICASA complaints register - I’m not the only one.
I will update this review daily with progress from ICASA case GAU003688/26 until resolved.
