Frogfoot should get the boot

The residents of Fairview in Port Elizabeth waited many years for Internet access and were dependent on expensive mobile 3G or 4G data.

We thought our prayers had been answered when Frogfoot came knocking but what a sad day this has turned out to be.

From the day that they started installling their infrastructure, we suffered DOZENS of water and electrical outages (sometimes for DAYS) as their workers damaged water pipes and electrical connections.

I waited in vain for months for them to come and restore my paved driveway to it's original condition (as promised) but ended up paying a contractor to come and do it.

Then (Covid-19 aside) their 'go-live date' slipped time and again, until we had almost given up hope. This was exacerbated by the fact that many of us had cancelled our 4G and LTE contracts in anticipation of the arrival of Fibre, only to be told of yet another delay.

When they finally DID go live instead of the wonderful Internet experience we were promised, we suffered numerous line drops and outages, sometimes for a few minutes and sometimes for many hours, all without forewarning, explanation or apology.

This has been my daily experience of Frogfoot Fibre for the past month. I now have a 4G modem with emergency data loaded, ready and waiting because Frogfoot is guaranteed to go down during the course of every single day!

I just do not understand how this company expects to stay in business! They seem to be devoid of any work-ethics, have no consideration whatsoever for their customers and (stupidly) think that we are just going to put up with this abysmal service forever!

Well they are sorely mistaken!

I am considering a class-action lawsuit against them for breach of (every imaginable aspect of) contract!

The management of Frogfoot needs to take a good hard look at how they are treating their customers and take drastic action to avoid being consigned to the (growing) trash-heap of failed businesses.
