I see alot of people complaining about their service but i'd like to set the record straight since no one has received a response, let me give you one. First of all they are not the one's responsible for the damage to property, this includes burst water pipes and the property damaged property. They hire subcontractors and they are the one's responsible for any damage that occurs. Here's something you didn't know about the outside of your garden - that's councils property. This means that they have every right to dig it up because they get permission to do so from the council. Unfortunately this not your property even though you've planted beautiful plants and whatnots. It really is a courtesy they do you by informing you and reinstating it. Things take time to get back to the way they were before. Alot of that time is because they are waiting for the subcontractors to fix their mess. It's not that they aren't doing their job or that they have poor customer service. Simply put you should do some research instead of thinking you're all a bunch of qualified planners and know it alls regarding fibre installations. You can stand there screaming and being rude but your anger is misdirected and you should really check yourselves. I have never had a bad experience with them and it's because i understand that there is more that goes on behind the scenes than just a burst water pipe. I'll tell you this much, you should be lucky you even have fibre being installed in your area. There are alot more people sitting without the infrastructure that really want it so stop being ungrateful and if you really can't handle the minor inconvenience of "property" damage then do some research into who is really to blame. Maybe listen to what the supervisor on site has to say. They're usually very helpful and willing to find a way to make everyone happy.
