Destroyed a 30 year old plant on my sidewalk while digging trenches

The started work in our street about 2 weeks ago. I received no notice whatsoever before my sidewalk was ripped up - the letter arrived after the tunnels were dug. Yet the supervisor kept on insisting I was notified before work started - a total lie.

A 30 year old bush was ripped out - it was then left for more than a week and pulled back roughly in place - no attempt was made to replant it. It is visibly dying and severely damaged. I have tried time and again to address this with the supervisor on site - who did nothing in spite of multiple promises to fix the plant. The last empty promise made Friday afternoon twas that they were not done and would do it Saturday - again noting was done Saturday and today.

Today it is very clear the plant is dying.

Today I spent a long time to get through to their complaints department - who is never at work to talk to. I left a message with the receptionist who promised me someone will get back to me - no one did.

It is strange behavior for people who are attempting them to sell you their service.

This is the most careless and sloppy work on site I have seen in a long time. You have people who are untrained to deal with plants.
