Poor service

We visited Frankies Fat Cakes at Palm Court today around 18:00, and the service was extremely disappointing. We stood at the counter waiting to be served, while other customers were seated, waiting for their orders.

There were two ladies at the counter. One of them was busy on the landline, clearly having a personal conversation in venac, which I could understand was not business-related. She didn’t even pause her call to acknowledge or assist us. The other lady was engrossed in capturing something on the receipt screen. She kept looking at us over the screen but never greeted or communicated with us. Instead of serving us, she took her time loading staples into a stapler after she was done with the receipt, still without a word.

After standing there with no acknowledgment or basic customer service, we decided to take our money elsewhere. It was obvious we weren’t going to get served any time soon, and the experience left much to be desired. I don’t plan on returning any time soon.
